    Exp: 4 - 8 yrs

Strong knowledge on Data Backup and Recovery NetBackup & Commvault
Overview Virtualization/ Storage / Operating Systems Windows, Unix(Solaris & Red Hat Linux)


Certification :
Veritas Certified Professional (VCP)
Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS)


Responsibilities :
Monitor and maintain all backup infrastructure including servers, tape libraries, and disk arrays.
Coordinate with vendors on issues with software, hardware, or the interaction between the two.
Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis of backup infrastructure.
Develop projects to upgrade existing infrastructure or deploy new systems to increase performance or capacity.
Respond to and resolve escalated customer-related issues.
Utilize scripting skills and in-depth knowledge
Manage the backup and restoration of systems
Install, maintain, update and administer
Perform backups using VERITAS NetBackup software ( SAN & LAN based ) and monitoring of schedules for failed and missed backups.
Administration of Virtual Tape Libraries, and LTO Libraries
Manage backups of heterogeneous client environment like Databases, SAP , Exchange / Lotus Notes, DB2 etc
